IP Connect is a private broadband network has been specifically designed to meet the needs of corporate organizations that have a requirement to deliver a secure home working network or small branch office connectivity.
It provides the following benefits for corporate organizations:
- Secure ADSL connectivity back to the corporate head office / data centre
- Managed Radius Server to provide secure and accountable access
- No requirement for VPN tunnels or encryption
- Managed network with single bill for all home workers
- Suited to 20-1000 home workers / sites
The solution is made up of three elements as detailed below:
IP Connect Circuit
The service provides IP connectivity using ADSL and is delivered to a specified IP Connect circuit. Included in this element is the provision of a managed Cisco Router.
End User ADSL Connections
Provision of low contention business class ADSL connections that do not provide direct internet connectivity.
Radius Server Solution
The Radius Server is required to authenticate the remote sites onto the IP Connect Circuit to ensure that only the relevant home worker or site are authenticated on the network.
